ABOUT the Park:

Located along the Stanislaus River near Ripon, this park protects one of California’s last remaining riparian oak woodlands. Old-growth valley oaks shade 64 campsites nestled in the forest, and visitors can hike, fish, swim or float along the river.

WEATHER:

Based on historical climate data for Caswell Memorial State Park in late July, expect hot, dry, and sunny conditions. Daytime highs typically reach the high 80s to mid-90s°F (approx. 30–35°C), with clear skies. Evenings offer mild to warm temperatures in the high 50s to low 60s°F. Prepare for high temperatures, sun exposure, and bring plenty of water.

ABOUT OUR CAMPSITE:

Each campsite has a paved parking spur, table and fire ring. Most campsites also have grills. Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets and hot showers. Firewood is also available for sale from the campground host.
